Leaders Foundation Mission of Liberia

Leaders Foundation Mission of Liberia

In Liberia, the gap between the potential of the nation’s youth and the quality of state education is a significant barrier to progress. Public education is often inadequate, and hidden costs—such as uniforms, books, and transportation—are prohibitive for many families. Private education remains unaffordable for the majority.

The goal is zero-barrier access to education for every student. Leaders Foundation Mission of Liberia is committed to removing learning barriers that hinder children from realizing their potential. We fully fund tuition and teacher salaries, ensuring that our students' access to education is not limited by external factors.

Every student receives an excellent education tailored to their reality. Many live in extreme poverty, struggling daily for clean water, food, and safe shelter. At LFML, students are provided with two meals each school day, two uniforms annually, books, extracurricular activities, and other resources to enrich their lives. Our teachers and leadership team understand the students' culture, teaching in familiar languages to accelerate them to grade-level proficiency and equip them with tools for success.
