SCKids

Awana at Eastfield

Our AWANA Ministry is a fun and interactive program designed to help kids memorize Scripture, grow in their faith, and develop strong character. With games, activities, and lessons, children will deepen their understanding of the Bible in a hands-on and engaging way. Meet with us Wednesday from 6:30p-8:00pm!

Sundays for SCKids

Our age-specific lessons, thrilling activities, and dynamic small groups have been specially designed to captivate the hearts and minds of children aged birth to 5th grade. Your little ones will embark on a voyage, exploring biblical truths and uncovering real-life lessons that they can apply to their lives every single week. Join us Sundays from 10:30 to 12:00pm!

Growing in the Home
Growing in the Home

We believe that parents are the primary disciple-making force in a child’s life. God has entrusted you with lives to raise for His glory, and we know that you can do it. We are here to make sure you don’t have to do it alone. May we live and model a life that is well pleasing, and raise up the next generation for His glory!

Check-Ins
On your first visit, look for the SCFamily Ministry area. If you can’t find it, one of our pastors or volunteers will be happy to help you!
At the SCFamily desk, you’ll be welcomed by a volunteer eager to meet your family and show you how SCKids works. To check your child in, we’ll need some information at that time, including a family member’s name, your child’s name and birthday, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. We’ll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off at the appropriate room, so feel free to ask questions!
Safety and Security
Safety and Security
Safety is a priority for kids to grow in any environment. Check-in is just one way we keep families protected. We also thoroughly background check any leader that serves with our precious children.
Check-in is open at 10:00am and closes at 10:30am, in order to best protect teachers and our children’s environments. For your child’s safety, the parent must pick up the child from their classrooms with corresponding tags.

Invest in the future
The difference between a child and a disciple could be you! Today’s children are the ones who will be leading the church and our world when you are old. The things they learn now as children will help them throughout the rest of their lives.

Make community through serve groups
All SCKids classrooms and activities are team-led, meaning you’ll get to serve alongside and get to know other volunteers just as awesome as you are. You will have another avenue to make community here at Steele Creek!

Have fun!
In case you didn’t know, kids are fun! Although the sacrifices of serving in adult-centered ministries are totally worth it, you will have plenty of fun serving with kids. Join us as we pour into the next generation!
Baby Dedication

Baby dedication is a way to declare to the Lord and the church in the presence of loving, Christ-Centered community that you are committing to raise your child in the ways of the Lord and to ask the Lord and the church to help you do this well. If you would like to dedicate your baby please register and you will be contacted by one of our Pastors to schedule a date and talk through how to prepare.
