Hurricane Helene has devastated our community, leaving many in desperate need of help, hope, and healing. As Steele Creek Church, we invite you to join us in being the hands and feet of Jesus during this critical time. Whether through giving, serving, or praying, your involvement can make a powerful difference. Below you will find resources and opportunities to make impact in the world around us.
Give
Hurricane Relief Fund
We are currently accepting funds for Hurricane Helene relief, with all donations going directly to support our trusted partner organizations such as Feed the Hunger, Samaritan’s Purse, and JAARS. In addition, your contributions will help meet local aid needs as they arise, providing immediate assistance to those most affected. Every gift makes a difference, bringing hope and relief to those in desperate need.
Donations
We are accepting donations to support our church partners in the areas impacted by Hurricane Helene. You can ship items directly to our Arrowood Campus through our Amazon list or drop them off in person at either campus during designated drop-off times. Please do not bring items outside of our current donation list or Amazon list.
We are not currently accepting used clothing items other than gently used or new jackets. We are also accepting new socks.

Volunteer with Feed the Hunger
Feed the Hunger is asking you to help meet this critical need by donating to sponsor meals or signing up to pack meals at our headquarters in their packing location at Lake Norman Baptist Church in Huntersville, NC. These meals will be distributed during this most catastrophic event.
Volunteer with Samaritan's Purse
Samaritan’s Purse is looking for those that would like to serve people in need and share the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There’s a way everyone can contribute!
Prayer
During difficult times, being a house of prayer for all people becomes even more vital. Prayer unites us, strengthens our faith, and brings hope and healing to those in need. We’ve created special prayer prompts for you and your family to use at home as you lift up those impacted. We also welcome you to join us for a special prayer night, where our community will gather to seek God together.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion—to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.
